Student Wellbeing

All children should be able to learn in an environment where they feel safe and supported. King’s Student Wellbeing team supports students’ social and emotional welfare by equipping students and their parents with effective strategies, recommendations and tools.

Our team is made up of dedicated teachers, chaplains and counsellors, working across King's two campuses. We work with both students and parents, striving to bring all students from hurt to healing through intervention, support and referrals to external professionals and agencies, where appropriate.

As well as offering counselling and support to individuals, we run a number of programs and initiatives throughout the year to benefit the wider student body. These include mentoring and peer support, anger management programs and parenting seminars.
