How to Enrol
The Enrolment process involves Applying via our online application form, with a non-refundable application fee of $110 (inclusive of GST). Once received with the supporting documentation specified, your child will be placed on a waiting pool for the requested year of commencement.
If you are interested in enrolling, we encourage you to please follow the process listed below:
-
Start an online Enrolment Application. One of our Enrolment team will contact you to answer your questions or you can request for an Application for Enrolment form to be emailed directly to you.
-
Provide copies of the following documents for your child/children:
- Birth certificate
- Passport or visa (if not born in Australia)
- Most recent two school reports (if applicable)
- Any relevant paperwork relating to medical conditions (like allergies, diabetes, asthma, etc.)
- Any applicable Court or Parenting Orders
- Parent’s driver’s license or passport
-
Pay the non-refundable application fee of $110 per student. Payment can be made in cash or by credit card at our Finance Office or click here for the Credit Card Details Form which can be emailed directly to accountsreceivable@kimberley.college
-
Once all documents have been received and the application fee paid one of our Enrolments team members will contact you to organise an enrolment interview with the Principal, Deputy Principal or Registrar. We ask that your child attend this interview with both parents, if possible.
-
If your application is successful, a place will be offered to your child/children by the Registrar only. This advice will be received by email with the Enrolment Agreement form attached.
-
The Enrolment Agreement and payment of the Enrolment Confirmation Fee of $200 per per student should be made within 14 days of the offer being made to confirm the acceptance of the place.
-
Once the signed Enrolment Agreement and Fee have been paid, your enrolment at Kimberley College is officially confirmed.
Some further information to consider when considering enrolment at Kimberley College:
-
Positions are offered to students in order of application or to siblings of current students (provided an application is made 12 months prior to the year of enrolment). Because of this, we maintain a waiting list for families wishing to enter the College so we encourage you to apply as soon as possible to secure a place for your child.
-
We have a large intake of Prep, Year 7 and Year 10 students. If you miss out on a place in our primary school, you will remain on our waitlist for enrolment in Year 7, unless you advise us otherwise.
-
Please note that, on formal acceptance of an offer, parents agree to support the rules, regulations and programs of work at the College as they may be determined from time to time, and are responsible for the payment of all fees and charges.
-
Any information relevant to the prospective student’s health or learning which would affect the College’s ability to provide effectively for the student’s education must be disclosed prior to enrolment (if known) or when such information becomes available to you during the student’s enrolment at the College.
-
A placement offer will result if the College is satisfied that the student has the ability to benefit from the College’s programs, and that there is a reasonable balance of genders and learning support students within each class and year level.
