Why enrol at Kimberley College?
We strive for every individual student to find their unique pathway to life beyond school – and opportunities for all students to become engaged, to find their purpose and passion, think of others, and live the change they want to see.
Understanding the Enrolment Process
We understand that choosing the right school for your child is a significant decision. That's why we offer a range of resources and support to help guide you through the enrolment process. Our friendly and knowledgeable team is always available to answer any questions you may have and provide you with the information you need to make an informed decision.
1. Submit an Application Form
Our Application to Enrol is an online form that you can complete on our website. You can use your home desktop computer, a tablet device or your smartphone to complete the application form.
Once you have submitted the details, including supporting documentation such as birth certificate, school reports and any other relevant documentation, you'll be required to pay the $110 application fee to submit the form.
You'll receive an automated reply confirming that we've received your application - if you don't receive this, make sure you check your junk email folder.
The applicant may be added to the Enrolment waitlist appropriate to the year of entry.
Please note: The successful lodgement of an enrolment application, with accompanying enrolment application fee, does not guarantee enrolment at Kimberley College. Enrolment is subject to the offer process and the Enrolment Terms and Conditions.
2. Interview
The applicant and their family will be invited to attend an interview with a member of our Leadership Team. This may be our College Principal, Deputy Principal, or a Sub School Coordinator.
During the interview, the applicant will be asked questions about their current schooling, what they like and dislike about school and what they are hoping to achieve as a student at Faith.
This is also a time for incoming students and their families to ask any questions you have about joining KC.
Upon successful completion of an online application form, you will receive an automated confirmation email acknowledging your application and your child will be added to the Enrolment Waitlist appropriate to the year of entry.
3. Letter of Offer & Enrolment Contract
If, we believe your family is a great fit for KC; and pending our selection criteria, the next step is for us to send you a Letter of Offer. This is sent as an email with a link to complete the Enrolment Contract, which is an online form, similar to what you completed for the application form.
A $200 confirmation fee is payable at this stage.
It's important that all biological parents or legal guardians sign the Enrolment Contract for legal requirements. If this is not possible, please arrange a confidential discussion with our Enrolments Officer or Director of Admissions and Marketing.
Once we have received the completed & signed Enrolment Agreement, we will then send our 'new student information' email advising of important information, such as laptop and IT information and uniform guidelines.
4. Orientation and First Day
There will be the following orientation events to attend in the lead up to your child starting:
- Year 7 Experience Day (usually held late November - early December)
- Prep Experience Day (usually held early - mid November)
We'll be in touch to invite you to these events if you have commenced the enrolment process prior to the event. This is also a chance for parents & carers to receive more information about the year ahead.
If your child or children are starting either at the start of a new term or mid-term, please head to the Admin building where we'll introduce their PC teacher and a buddy.
Should a suitable vacancy arise, you will be contacted to discuss your child's application and may be invited for a formal interview. Priority is given to applications for siblings when one child or more is already enrolled at the College.
